Why should flow rinsing be used for electroplating ?

If stagnant water is used for cleaning, then the concentration of electroplating cleaning water will become higher and higher, which will not only fail to achieve the cleaning effect, but will make the workpiece more and more dirty. Then, using flowing water washing can not only keep the cleaning tank updated all the time, but from the perspective of water saving, countercurrent flowing water can be used for rinsing. The water enters from the lower right and flows out from the upper left. If the inflow and outflow of water are all on one side, the effect of flowing water washing will not be achieved. For non-flowing water washing, it is also necessary to continuously replenish new water to avoid excessive concentration.

Electroplating and washing should not be too fast. The workpiece should stay above the tank for 10 to 30 seconds when it is out of the tank or out of the cleaning tank. The liquid in the deep hole and blind tank of the workpiece is poured out as much as possible.

In summary, flowing rinsing is adopted for the following reason:

1. Reduce the loss caused by tank liquid brought out;
2. Reduce the residual liquid brought into the next process, resulting in the tank liquid pollution of the next process;
3. Reduce the burden of electroplating cleaning. Light and thin workpieces should be slow when entering the plating tank and cleaning tank to prevent the workpieces from flying out of the frame.
